Welcome to Ding Dong. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully before securing your Ding Dong moment.

1. About Us

Ding Dong is a UK-based premium bakery brand supplying handcrafted baked goods including doughnuts, brownies, cookies and celebration products.

2. Eligibility

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts
  • All information provided is accurate and complete

3. Placing an Order

3.1 All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.
3.2 A contract is formed only once you receive an order confirmation email from Ding Dong.
3.3 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.
3.4 It is your responsibility to ensure all delivery or collection details are correct at checkout.
Once your treats enter production, they cannot be cancelled (see Section 7).

4. Pricing & Payment

4.1 All prices are displayed in GBP (£).
4.2 Prices include VAT where applicable.
4.3 Delivery charges are calculated at checkout.
4.4 Full payment is required at the time of order using secure online payment methods.
4.5 We reserve the right to amend pricing without prior notice.

5. DELIVERY & COLLECTION

We deliver across the UK mainland using DPD Next Day Delivery Service, within London & the M25 using the Ding Dong Fleet, and offer Click & Collect from selected London partner locations including Hermanos Coffee (selected branches).
All eligible orders are prepared for Next Working Day Delivery unless the “Before 12pm” option is selected.

5.1 Order Cut-Off

Orders must be placed before 1:00pm (Monday–Friday) to qualify for next working day delivery or next day collection.
Orders placed after 1:00pm will be processed the following working day.
Dispatch operates Monday–Friday only.

5.2 UK Mainland Delivery (DPD)

Tuesday – Saturday

  • Orders over £75 – FREE Delivery
  • Orders under £75 – £7.95
  • Optional Delivery Before 12pm – Additional £7.50

Delivery times are estimates and subject to courier operational conditions.

Sunday & Monday

We do not offer deliveries on Sundays or Mondays.

As our products are freshly made, we avoid sending orders via DPD where extended weekend transit times could compromise the freshness and quality of your Ding Dong treats. We’d rather make you wait a little longer than deliver anything that isn’t at its best. 

5.3 London & M25 Delivery (Ding Dong Fleet)

For eligible postcodes within London & the M25:

  • Next day delivery available (subject to availability)
  • Delivery windows may apply
  • Before 12pm delivery may be available

Fleet delivery is particularly used for premium, event or larger orders.

5.4 Click & Collect (Selected London Locations)

Click & Collect is available at selected partner stores. 

Collection Terms

  • Orders must be placed via the official Ding Dong website
  • Collection date and location must be selected at checkout
  • Order confirmation must be presented upon collection
  • Orders must be collected on the confirmed date
  • Uncollected orders may be disposed of in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Partner stores act solely as collection points and are not responsible for product preparation

5.5 Risk & Responsibility

  • Risk transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery or collection.
  • If no one is available to accept delivery, responsibility remains with the customer.
  • Ding Dong is not responsible for incorrect delivery information provided at checkout.
    Our products are perishable and should not be left unattended.

5.6 Uncollected Orders

For Click & Collect:

  • Orders not collected on the confirmed date may be disposed of due to food safety regulations.
  • Uncollected orders are non-refundable
  • Partner stores act solely as collection points

6. Delivery Limitations

Ding Dong shall not be liable for delivery delays caused by:

  • Courier network disruptions
  • Traffic or accidents
  • Weather conditions
  • Industrial disputes
  • Government restrictions
  • Events beyond reasonable control (Force Majeure)

Where delivery is carried out by DPD, services are provided by a third-party courier.

7. Perishable Goods & Cancellation

Under Regulation 28 of The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, perishable goods are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right.
Accordingly:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced
  • We do not accept returns for change of mind
  • Orders not collected on the confirmed date are non-refundable

8. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

8.1 You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
8.2 Photographic evidence is required.
8.3 At our discretion, we may offer a replacement or refund.
8.4 Failure to report within 24 hours may invalidate claims.

9. Allergens & Food Safety

  • All products are prepared in kitchens handling nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs and other allergens.
  • We cannot guarantee absence of trace allergens.
  • Customers with severe allergies should contact us before ordering.
  • Ding Dong accepts no liability for allergic reactions where allergen information has been provided.

10. Product Variation

All products are handmade.
Colours, toppings and decoration may vary slightly from website images.
Variation is part of the craft.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11.2 Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods.
11.3 We are not liable for indirect, consequential or economic loss.

12. Intellectual Property

All branding, logos, product names, designs, imagery and website content remain the property of Ding Dong.
Unauthorised reproduction or resale is prohibited.

13. Wholesale & Trade Customers

Separate written agreements apply to approved wholesale and trade customers.
Trade pricing, shelf-life terms, and delivery structures are confidential.

14. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time.
The version in force at the time of order shall apply.
